Contents of Respirich

  1. Banshlochan (Bamboo): It is extensively used in Ayurveda as a stimulant, sweet, cooling, tonic, expectorant, haemostatic, aphrodisiac, diuretic and anti-cough. It has expectorant action. It increases the bronchial secretion and enhances the expulsion of mucus by air passages of the lungs.
  2. Abhrak Bhasma: Abhrak Bhasma is the calcination of the mineral, mica. It is an established Rasayana (Rejuvenative tonic, nourishes all Dhatu and builds Ojas, promotes longevity by preventing aging and by making the body young again) of Ayurveda.This medicine contains iron, calcium, magnesium potassium, aluminium etc. It is useful in the treatment of asthma, cough, cold, bronchitis, throat congestion etc. It is known for its penetrating and spreading property in our body and various micro-tissues because of which it helps in tissue restoration.
  3. Tankan Bhasma: It is used in the treatment of productive cough, bronchitis, wheezing, asthma, chest congestion.
  4. Cardamom: Greater cardamom is a spice having tremendous medicinal properties. It has antioxidant, stimulant, stomachic, antispasmodic, appetizer, alexipharmic and astringent properties and is useful in diseases of mouth, indigestion, and respiratory ailments.
  5. Dalchini - Cinnamon Benefits: In Ayurveda, Cinnamon or Twak is considered kapha-Vata dosh har. Its oral intake reduces Kapha and vata;stimulates digestion; expels abdominal gases; and exhibits expectorant action. Cinnamon has carminative, antiseptic and astringent properties.
  6. Pudina Satva: It’s a Ayurvedic medicine useful in Digestion, Nausea & Headache, Coughs, Asthma, cold etc.
  7. Jeshthmadh (Liquorice root): This root is a demulcent and gentle relaxant, soothing to mucous irritations, and valued chiefly for its sweet taste and in masking the sharpness / taste if other remedies. Respiratory disorders such as asthma, bronchitis, wheezing, phlegm, sore throat, laryngitis, tonsillitis, hoarseness of voice etc. Liquorice is useful. It has heavy and unctuous properties and hence sooths the sore throat.
  8. Long Pepper: Long pepper is antioxidant, decongestant, carminative, expectorant, warming, analgesic, and detoxifier. Long pepper is used to treat a variety of conditions like asthma, bronchitis, cough, digestive disorders etc.
  8. Camphor Vrukshya Nyas: Camphor oral intake has carminative, expectorant, and reflex stimulating effect on heart, circulation and respiration. Camphor is diaphoretic (induces perspiration), stimulant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, internally expectorant etc.
  8. Useful in Pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma, cold ,cough etc.
